Key Background:

Kendra Scott is stepping into the Western wear market with the launch of its new boot collection under the Yellow Rose by Kendra Scott brand. The move marks a major expansion beyond the company’s well-known jewelry line and represents its first step toward creating a full wardrobe.

The debut collection includes three boot styles designed for both men and women, reflecting a modern take on the classic cowgirl look. The designs incorporate custom shapes, stitching, and embroidery, tying in elements of the brand’s signature jewelry aesthetic.

“A lot of folks don’t know, but in the other half of my life, I take my heels off in the boardroom and throw my boots on to head to my ranch,” said founder Kendra Scott, who grew up in Texas embracing Western style from denim to cowboy boots. She added that she wanted to create a brand that puts the cowgirl first while keeping a modern and stylish approach.

Yellow Rose began in 2023, blending jewelry with Western style, and later opened physical stores. After two years of testing modern Western clothing for women, the brand is now launching its boot collection.

Cowboy boots sales are expected to hit $538.6 million by 2035. Brands like Levi’s, Gap, and Wrangler are also adding Western-style products, and celebrities such as Beyoncé are helping make the trend popular.

Scott emphasized that the boot collection is just the beginning. “We’ve built trust and connection with our customers over two decades, and that allows us to now think about expanding into other categories,” she said. Yellow Rose will open its fourth store and first location outside Texas in Nashville later this year.

Earlier this year, Kendra Scott also entered the eyewear market with Marchon Eyewear, showing the brand’s plan to expand beyond jewelry. With the new Western wear line, Kendra Scott combines classic style with a modern twist, offering fashionable options for cowgirls.
