A significant role in this process is played by organizational leadership which efficiently guides employees to clearly understand their duties, to set relevant targets, and to be provided with the necessary resources for accomplishing their goals. The truth is when people know what they should do and they also hold that what they offer is of great value, then they will perform at their best level of their own accord. 

Another instance of performance attaching that can be improved by leadership is empowerment vs. control. The micromanagement will slow down the work, decrease the creative abilities, and bring the feelings of dissatisfaction. On the other hand, when leaders have confidence in their groups and grant independence, co-workers develop higher self-esteem and become more willing to take the initiative. Management should not be about finding solutions for every problem. Instead, it should be about empowering employees to find solutions themselves.

Those leaders who are good communicators (that is, they do it clearly, rapidly, and politely) facilitate alignment and, at the same time, they also present removing of the confusion as a result. If leaders are concentrating on developing relationships that are strong, a culture that is healthy, teams that are empowered, and on guiding the organization with a vision that is clear, then they are making a workplace where people are motivated to give their best.
