Background

Highlands and Islands Enterprise has completed two new industrial units at Enterprise Park Forres, investing £1.2 million in the development and inviting businesses to take a closer look at what is on offer.

Each unit covers 150 sqm and suits a range of business uses including light industrial, manufacturing, and research and development. HIE describes the spaces as flexible and self-contained, with features including sectional roller doors, dedicated parking, EV charging points, cycle storage, solar panels, and electric heating and air-conditioning.

An open day is scheduled for 24 June from 10am to 3pm, organised in partnership with FG Burnett, HIE’s property agents. Prospective tenants can visit the units, walk through the spaces, and get more information about the park and what it offers businesses looking to set up or expand.

HIE Area Manager for Moray, David Reid, said the units are a strong addition to the park and are ready to welcome businesses. “We’ve designed them to offer a high quality, flexible space for local businesses looking to grow.

Whether it’s a company looking for room to expand or a business seeking a new base, they offer a great environment in a location with a strong track record for innovation and partnership working,” he said.

HIE noted that the new units give businesses in the area another option when looking for smaller industrial spaces locally, adding to the existing range of properties already available at Enterprise Park Forres.

The Manufacturing Innovation Centre Moray has also opened at the park. The centre supports businesses in developing new products and processes and backs innovation and operational efficiency across the region. Businesses interested in the open day or the units can contact FG Burnett for further details.
