Background
Truecaller has opened its Business Chat platform to global partners, giving enterprise solution providers and channel partners a new way to help businesses reach customers outside of traditional SMS.
The platform supports business-to-consumer communication through verified messaging, media-rich formats and two-way interactions, drawing on real-time data and engagement metrics to help companies lift response rates and deepen customer connections.
Several partners are already live with the service. In India, Gupshup and OneXtel are among those actively using the platform, while Globe Teleservices, Cloudcom and Sling Africa are backing deployments in international markets.
Priyam Bose, Global Head of Go-To-Market at Truecaller, said businesses today measure success not just by delivery rates but by their ability to hold attention, earn trust and drive conversions. He added that bringing partners onto the platform opens up a strong opportunity for brands to reach more than 500 million active users who already turn to Truecaller every day.
The company said existing clients also stand to benefit, with the platform adding another high-impact channel to their customer engagement mix and strengthening the overall user experience.
The move is part of Truecaller’s plan to grow its business messaging services through partners, taking on SMS and other communication tools in markets worldwide. The company said partner-led distribution will help accelerate its reach across both established and emerging markets.
