Background-
PrimeGlobal, a global accounting and business advisory group, has rolled out two new programs across the Asia-Pacific region aimed at strengthening cross-border business support.
The two programs are called the China Business Support Desk and the India Global Capability Centre. Together, they are meant to help firms handle international business needs and reach the right expertise inside PrimeGlobal’s network of member companies.
The China Business Support Desk connects organizations seeking help in China with PrimeGlobal member firms already operating there. On the other side, it supports Chinese businesses that want accounting and advisory help in overseas markets, again drawing on the association’s international network.
The India Global Capability Centre works differently. It gives companies from anywhere in the world access to specialist skills and delivery capacity based in India.
Steve Heathcote, PrimeGlobal’s CEO, said the association’s real strength lies in the combined expertise of its global community. According to him, these two initiatives give members practical new ways to tap into that expertise, open up opportunities, and offer stronger value to their clients.
Rather than relying on informal introductions or personal contacts, both programs now offer a structured process for connecting companies and advisers with the specific support they need.
George Guo, who took on the role of PrimeGlobal’s Asia-Pacific regional executive director back in February 2020, pointed to the growing importance of China and India in global business. He said the new initiatives create clearer paths for firms to reach local expertise, build relationships, and spot opportunities for growth, both within the region and beyond it.
